This weekend, our team had the opportunity to glean plums from two generous neighbors.

At the first home, many plums had already fallen to the ground when we arrived, but we worked hard to rescue the good ones and carefully harvested the remaining fruit on the tree to prevent further waste.

The second neighbor had two beautiful plum trees — one bearing sweet Mirabelle plums and the other filled with rich Damson plums. Together, our team successfully rescued 120 pounds of delicious, fresh fruit!

Every pound saved means less waste and more nourishment for families in need. Thank you to our incredible volunteers and generous neighbors for making this possible!
