It’s been a busy day! This morning, we helped a neighbor in Castro Valley glean over 150 pounds of persimmons. Later in the afternoon, we served our bimonthly meal at Building Futures with homemade spaghetti, Caesar salad, chicken chunks, and of course, our rescued persimmons for dessert. The remaining fruit will be delivered to ECAP.
