After collecting fresh vegetables from the Grand Lake Farmers' Market, we delivered them to ECAP, a volunteer-run nonprofit that provides nutritious food and referral services to underserved residents in Emeryville and surrounding communities. Open six days a week, ECAP ensures consistent access to free food for those in need. I was especially inspired by conversations with the founder and operations manager, who have dedicated over 30 years to serving families and strengthening the community.
